Stadium issues – what YOU think!

David Gold has pledged the stadium troubles will be sorted as the club continues intense talks with the operators.

West Ham fan are being vilified throughout the media despite the vast majority behaving themselves perfectly and members of the ClaretandHugh FB forum have not been slow to give their views.

Go to https://www.facebook.com/groups/363174467150521/ for your say on ll things West Ham.

olympic-stadium-and-west-ham-badge-pic-pa-391417952O It’s all gone ‘Pete Tong’.  Firm and decisive management of this situation needed. If it continues, we could become a laughing stock.
OWon’t solve it by throwing out your own fans for standing up ! And before all the clowns say if you want to stand stay at home it suited the club for the last 20 odd years in the lower bm ! Ok to take the money then and laud our famous passionate atmosphere that’s what comes of having no say in your so called own ground
OIt’s not our ground and it’s not what suits us – but teh operators. Why is that so hard to understand
O It’s individual supporters not the ground
O The club took the money option, now they are reaping what they have sown, All they can do is blame everyone else but the root cause of all this is in the migration policy and the blame sits on those that run the club
O To blame bad behaviour of the fans on the owners?! You should hang your head in shame! The trouble-making  and violence is down to the individual that participates in it!
O There are lots of issues from no proper stewarding and no police in or around the stadium, not to metion no segregation as you can walk all the way around the concourse.. Its a shambles and it will only get worse it they don’t wake up and smell the coffee!!
O There are issues around stewarding which clearly need to be addressed. But I have yet to see any stewards fighting each other, the way I have witnessed West Ham fans fighting. It’s obvious some have got an agenda to be deliberately confrontationa
O Getting bored of trying to explain what ‘sit down’ means, and ‘have to stick to the rules of the stadium’ means-anyone else want to try
O There is no going back now.  It’s about what we make it now. I will never be happy to sit there and,  have a little clap.

O I’m imagining how ridiculous I’ll sound if either of my kids asks me why West Ham fans are fighting and I have to say “well its because people were allowed to stand at the old ground but they’re not here and if someone behind them cant see and asks them to sit down there’s an issue! “

jMan43 I could not agree you more well put, its always the few that spoil it for the many.
A great deal of time hard work etc has been put in to win this stadium deal which will benefit all west hams fans eventually so be patient as they say Rome wasn’t built in a day!!

You know what, getting very very bored with all this, beyond disappointed at what’s happening on and off the pitch after last season’s excellent finish at the Boleyn. Much more of this and I shall call it a day, there is more to life than this, it’s supposed to be what pleases me to do in my down time. I can see this going one way and that’s my worry, there isn’t a simple solution to this and I just don’t have the time for grown men fighting with their own or any fans. Southampton had better be a better experience.

I have no time for any so called West Ham fan who refuses to abide by the rules in our new home. What was allowed at UP is old news, it matters not a jot now, cos guess what we aren’t at UP anymore, so grow up and either comply or sod off; we don’t need the trouble you are causing. Yes the stewarding needs to improve and lack of police presence is a joke but it starts first with us fans complying to the rules of the new stadium, end of.
