Brave Oggy battling update

Angelo Ogbonna is currently resting as the first stage of his recovery from the injury he picked up  in the famous 3-2 win over Liverpool.

The club believe that he has at least another two years football in the 33 year old and like Lukas Fabianski will likely be offered a one year deal with a one year option.

Despite learning he could be out for the season, Oggy is setting private targets to be back before then following the knee injury.

We were told: “He is such a confident and brave lad – a true professional and nobody would be surprised if he defied the odds and made it back to his own targets.”

Meanwhile, Aaron Cresswell will face a late test on his back injury before today’s game at Burnley.
