Carlton Cole rejoins the Hammers again

|

Carlton Cole has rejoined the Hammers in a new role mentoring the club’s scholars and schoolboys.

“Carlton has come back to the club and although he is fairly fresh in terms of his coaching, one thing you cannot teach is the years of experience he has of playing at the top level,” Jack Collison explained on WHUFC.com. “To have his input and help in and around a few of our individuals will be massive.

“Coley was always such a massive character in the changing room and straight away he has brought in that positivity and that banter.

“Hopefully the boys will enjoy being around Coley, will build relationships with him and his positive influence and experience will rub off on them.”

Claret and Hugh says: There is always a special place in our hearts for Carlton who has a cult hero like status among West Ham supporters. It is great that he has chosen by the Hammers to start a fledgeling coaching career at West Ham and I can think no better mentor for the young lads in the West Ham academy alongside Jack Collison. Cole’s passion and love the club is clear for all to see and I am sure he will a great asset in Academy dressing rooms to give his words or motivation and experience to the next generation of footballers.  Good luck and welcome back Carlton!
