Forgotten Hammer may step up against Chelsea

Lucas Perez is understood to be on standby in the unlikely event of Marko Arnautovic being unavailable for the match against League leaders Chelsea at the London Stadium tomorrow (Sun) .

Marko will face a Sunday morning fitness test but word most of the week is that he is more likely to appear from the start than not.

Former Gunner Perez was of course at the centre of a “warm-up” misunderstanding between himself Michail Antonio and the manager during the Everton game but later made it clear  in a statement there were no problems .

Now, should Arnautovic be unavailable, Perez could could get the call over Michail with his ability to move around and pull players out of position.

With Chicharito still not fully recovered from illness Perez could step up having made a couple of appearances against Bournemouth and his former club Arsenal earlier in the season.
