An excellent update today from ExWHUEmployee, who has become the latest to declare Jarrod Bowen’s intention to remain at the London Stadium and help the club’s promotion push.

Ex gave the update on his West Ham Way Patreon today and cited sources close to the player himself, indicating that Bowen would very much like to help the club return to the top flight.

Another Positive Bowen Update

The news is excellent for West Ham supporters, particularly because people are now hearing the same thing from multiple sources.

That is that Jarrod Bowen wants to remain at the club.

Much like Claret & Hugh confirmed earlier this week, it increasingly appears that any departure would be a club decision to cash in on the 29-year-old rather than one driven by the player himself.

If there is a genuine intention from West Ham to retain their key players, then Bowen is undoubtedly at the very top of that list.

Reasons For Optimism

We’re still waiting for some significant announcements, whether that be Nils Koppen officially joining as recruitment director or confirmation that Daniel Křetínský’s increased shareholding has been completed.

Until those developments are confirmed, there is inevitably an element of hope rather than certainty surrounding the club’s new direction.

However, there is undoubtedly a far more positive mood emerging from West Ham than there was just a few weeks ago.

Much like Tomáš Souček earlier this week, Bowen could yet become the next senior player to publicly commit himself to another season at the London Stadium.

That would represent another significant statement of intent as West Ham prepare for a Championship campaign in which promotion back to the Premier League is the only objective.
