Hammers in major Moyes update

West Ham have no desire to sack David Moyes if it can possibly be avoided. But in a major update to Claret and Hugh they have revealed all alternatives are being considered including looking at the managers who will be available one of whom could come in at the end of the season writes Hughie Southon.

And despite regular stories that Tim Steidten could be on his way if things can’t be worked out between himself and the manager, our top source would not deny the technical director would be involved in suggesting managers who could well suit the club.

However, one things is absolutely for sure Moyes is set to remain at the club until the end of the season with the club hoping he will turn things around despite the growing unrest among the supporters and amid travelling Hammers displaying “Moyes Out” placards at Nottingham Forest.

They have also made it clear that Lucas Paqueta is needed back from injury “desperately” as the Hammers have staggered from disaster to chaos at Arsenal and the City Ground over the past few games – notably against Arsenal and at Forest.

Our main source was entirely up front about things when we contacted him this evening declaring : “In reality we hope things improve and then decide what to do at the end of the season.

But he added: “In the meantime all balls and alternatives are in the air. We hope the manager can turn things around.”

However, all of this has left Moyes‘ hopes that new deal talks will continue in the meantime are now dead in the water.
