Hammers v City – all you need to know

Benrahma available but unlikely to start

The Hammers go back into action after the amazing Spurs result determined to show they are a becoming a very different and determined side to the one we have become used to watching!

With Manchester City as the opposition at the London Stadium today (Sat) they have the perfect opportunity to show the new consistency again as they bid to take the unbeaten run to four.

There have been suggestions that Michail Antonio may not be available but our information is the striker is now fit and available although Sebastian Haller is likely to be given a fitness test before the game should  David Moyes choose to include him in the squad.

The manager will take few chances with the Frenchman given that he has Andriy Yarmolenko as cover in the position.

The Hammers will have no fear of a team that has put 22 goals past them at the London Stadium over recent games as they bid to reach ten points and push themselves clear of the visitors who are currently on the same number of points but beneath us on goal difference.

City are coming off the back of two tidy if not entirely convincing victories against Arsenal and Porto in the Champions League.

Here’s all you need to know about the game.

  •  Kick off is at 12.30pm BST today.
  • The game is live on BT Sport 1.
  • Coverage begins at 11.30am, an hour ahead of kick-off.
  • For the visitors, Kevin De Bruyne is expected back after missing the last couple of games with a thigh problem.
  • But Gabriel Jesus, Benjamin Mendy and Fernandinho will all be out.
  • West Ham have  deadline day signing Said Benrahma available but David moyes declares he is unlikely to make an appearance..
