Hundreds of tickets remain for unsold for Chelsea

This weekend I am off to Prague for a fellow West Ham season ticket holder’s stag week so will miss the West Ham v Chelsea derby, after the recent news that up to 12,500 season ticket holders are missing from each West Ham game played at the London Stadium I decided to re-list my West stand ticket in section 113 early on Ticket exchange.

As soon as the option became available last Thursday I listed my seat for Sunday’s game. The club re-listed my seat for £67 including booking and the automated email told me I would receive £37.72 in return if it sold.

The club encouraged season ticket holders to list early saying that most tickets re-listed early sell however six days later my ticket is still for sale with no takers. I am not alone and there are hundreds of tickets available in almost every section of the London Stadium for this game.

Is it the price being charged by the club? Is it because the game is LIVE on TV? or has the novelty value of the London Stadium worn off for many casual supporters?

If we can’t sell out tickets on tickets for West Ham v Chelsea on the weekend on ticket exchange, what hope is there for Huddersfield on a midweek night?

My ticket in section 113 row 19 is still available for anyone who wants it 😉  https://www.eticketing.co.uk/whufc/
