David Moyes looks to have got himself a Get out of Gaol free card with a cushy looking game against Burnley as the squad look to next Thursday and Freiburg .
He will face a real test next Thursday though as the Hammers have to come from behind for the first time in their recent Euro competitions if they are to qualify for the last eight. Sevilla was the last time!

But he will privately be probably very pleased that it’s Burnley he faces as the squad build towards the game next week.
According to the BBC the stats show Burnley are winless in five league games against us since beating them 1-0 at the London Stadium in July 2020 courtesy of a Jay Rodriguez goal (D2, L3) and that the Clarets have only won two of their eight Premier League fixtures away to the Hammers (D1, L5).
This will be the 90th league meeting between the sides. Burnley have 35 wins to West Ham’s 34, with 20 draws.
In the meantime the Hammers could easily be meeting one of the Euro League’s big boys if they make it through next week.
Liverpool, Roma, Marseille and Milan are among the teams they may face should they be successful with AC Milan looking strong. The other three ties are tight although Atalanta, Bayer Leverkusen and Rangers look strong.
