Moyes proved right over transfer priorities

David Moyes has been proved right over his summer transfer priorities.

Many supporters were crying out for the left-back position to be the main priority calling for Arthur Masuaku and Aaron Cresswell to be dropped and sold.

Instead, the manager concentrated on a centre back and a right-back despite frequent criticism.

He was blasted for signing a cheap right back in the form of Vladimir Coufal and a cheap loan move for Craig Dawson after missing out on James Tarkowski, Nikola Milenkovic and Wesley Fofana.

That cheap Czech right-back is now the first choice with Ryan Fredericks and Ben Johnson forced to wait patiently in the wings.

Arron Cresswell and Arthur Masuaku are both in Moyes’ starting lineup in the new formation and in the best form of their West Ham careers and unlikely to be dropped anytime soon.

Craig Dawson is also said to be impressing the manager and his teammates in training through his effort and work ethics even though he is the fourth choice centre back. Fabian Balbuena, another player supporters were calling to be sold has come back into form keeping Issa Diop out of the team.

In David Moyes we trust!
