No decision taken on manager this season

No decision has been taken on David Moyes future and the club plans to honour his contract and concentrate on the remaining Premier League games. A final decision will only be taken after the season finishes according to club insider.

While the 60-year-old appears to be a dead man walking it appears the board want to wait to see what options are available before they sit down with David Moyes in their normal end of season review.

Many names have already been linked for the managers hotspot this and many more will continue to be linked as June approaches.

Ruben Amorim and Julen Lopetegui are new names which have appeared in the past twenty four hours while Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna is another name that continues to be linked.

Another Tim Steidten suggestion could end up former West Ham coach now Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzić.

Other reported names include former Al Duhail manager Christophe Galtier, AZ Alkmaar manager Arne Slot, Lille boss Paulo Fonseca, Nottingham Forest coach Steve Cooper and former Chelsea manager Graham Potter.

West Ham hold a long-term interest in Thomas Tuchel, but it seems unrealistic despite his situation at Bayern Munich so he would most likely reject any approach.

Jose Mourinho is not seen as a suitable replacement.
