Slaven Bilic has admitted he won’t be rushing into the transfer market to replace Andre Ayew declaring: “I’m not a big fan of that.”

And he added: “We have to get on  without moaning or crying about it. It’s not ideal – he could be out for two and half months or four months. We don’t know but we hope he will be back this year.”

However, Tony Cottee – also speaking to Sky Sports News – reckons the Hammers need a goalscorer following injury to the £20 million signing and that the right back position needs loking at.

He said: “Given the Ayew injury we need a goalcorer and I think a right back. We need to beat Bournemouth because after that we play Manchester City away and then it’s the internationl break.”
