Slaven Bilic has admitted he won’t be rushing into the transfer market to replace Andre Ayew declaring: “I’m not a big fan of that.”
And he added: “We have to get on without moaning or crying about it. It’s not ideal – he could be out for two and half months or four months. We don’t know but we hope he will be back this year.”
However, Tony Cottee – also speaking to Sky Sports News – reckons the Hammers need a goalscorer following injury to the £20 million signing and that the right back position needs loking at.
He said: “Given the Ayew injury we need a goalcorer and I think a right back. We need to beat Bournemouth because after that we play Manchester City away and then it’s the internationl break.”
A real Clive Dunn moment.
Apparently Bournemouth don’t like it up ’em, so we should be fine.
I wonder if Pike will be making an appearance in the Claret and Blue again ? 😉
Neatly done.
No panic then !!!
Not rushing in just buying a forward like we should have done a month ago,
If sicknote gets injured we are left with Calleri a not fit Sakho and a dud in Valencia,
Bony needs signing not loan permanent,
If Palace can gat Benteke and Remy that makes us second class citizens,
As for RB we have Byram now and Burke with Oxford as back up
Better then last year where we had another dud Jenkinson and only Tomo as back up
If that’s the best you could come up with when you got off the fence again go and have a rest,
Palace spending 32m on a striker Bournemouth spending over 40m why aren’t we spending?
Because Palaces chairman walks the walk doesn’t just talk the talk.I say it tongue in cheek but it makes you wonder doesn’t it.
Because they are not covered by Fair play have great big sponsors massive ground with sky high attendance,
Ops that Manure not Palace,
Just sign Bony and we will have an even better season and your club will be worth even more when you sell it,
