Report: Hammers make late move for Spurs striker

|
It’s transfer deadline day so expect fior West Ham to be linked with lots of players between now and 5pm this evening.
The latest transfer rumour is that West Ham will make a surprise late move for  Spurs striker Fernando Llorente who is Harry Kane’s back-up at Tottenham but wants a chance for regular first-team football.

The Daily Mail has reported that Pellegrini is pondering a move for Llorente, either on loan or a permanent deal.

It’s believed Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is open to losing Llorente having failed to have been impressed by the 33-year-old but West Ham would reportedly need £7million to land the Spanish striker.

Of course like many rumours today this is extremely unlikely to happen. Pellegrini looks like he has landed his  back up striker in Lucas Perez who is expected to be announced today.
