West Ham loanee Roberto’s misery in Spain continues as he let in a further six goals in on Sunday for Deportivo Alavés,
Celta Vigo whacked six past the hapless keeper at the weekend after letting in two goals on his debut against his former club RCD Espanyol de Barcelona.
Regular Alaves stopper Fernando Pacheco was sent off against Espanyol. The 28-year-old lasted just 18 minutes on the pitch before he was sent packing for catching the ball outside his area. Roberto came in from the bench to concede two goals.
Roberto’s series of high-profile mistakes while at West Ham are blamed for the sacking of Manuel Pellegrini and the current relegation battle the Hammers currently find themselves in. The 34-year-old has still has 12 months left on his West Ham contract.
