Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has paid a huge tribute to David Moyes and West Ham United.
The Foxes manager knows just how tough the clash against the Irons is going to be when the two sides meet at the London Stadium on Monday night.
The Irons go into the game on the back of an unbeaten run in pre-season and win at Newcastle after the Geordies completed a double over us last season.
That alone shows how far the team has progressed perhaps even from the last campaign as they look towards another Premier League success and Euro League campaign this term.
Rodgers is an admirer of everything Moyes has achieved since his return to the club and the signing he has made where the likes of Tomas Soucek, Vladi Coufal and Jarrod Bowen have been hugely successful.
And he was more than ready to talk the Hammers up at his pre-match presser where he declared: “You always want to sustain the success that he’s (Moyes) created,”
“He’s gone in there and taken players out and brought players in. You can see the work ethic and quality in the team. They have quality in abundance, but we do too. It should be a fantastic game.
“They’re a very good side. David has done a fantastic job. The front four have big talent. Michail is big, strong, has technical talent and wants to score goals.”
