Several sources- with news content scarce during this pesky international break – have been poring over the latest ‘West Ham training video’ release from inside Rush Green.

Whilst it is good to see the side working under a proactive Nuno Espirito Santo during his extended coaching period with the bulk of the squad, but over zealous analysts scouring the content looking for  player absence as evidence of injuries is perhaps going a little too far.

Of course, Niclas Fullkrug is absent from the video- his latest muscle injury has been well documented this week.

No Fullkrug in training video after injury

A couple of West Ham news web sites had written articles intimating that Crysencio Summerville’s absence from the latest training video could be evidence of an injury: The Flying Dutchman has been in blistering form since his return just a few weeks ago so any inkling of another injury scare would of course be dreadful news.

Panic over.

West Ham’s own Facebook post of Friday in fact provides reassurance: West Ham’s number 7 is, in fact, featured in a simple ‘C S7 = star’ post which banishes any suggestion of an injury.

Roll on the start of the Premier League again next week, so that fans and analysts alike having more newsworthy items to concentrate on. As the training pictures from Friday clearly show, I’m happy to report ‘CR 7’ is alive and well and definitely kicking.

From the old Bobby Moore Upper to the Billy Bonds' stand these days - sometimes- have to admit I have not renewed my season ticket... I've been watching since '03 and a supporter since about 1970..
Favourite player - Dean Ashton: Still watch YouTube repeats of the Cup Final of 2006 hoping in vain that Shaka Hislop grows six inches and stops Steven Gerrard's injury time equaliser. Can tell I'm getting old knowing I saw both Mark Noble's debut and his last game at West Ham.
Pulling on a Claret and Blue replica shirt still makes me feel the same butterflies as when I was seven years old. Magic.
