Slav adds one player to the squad for WBA

|

FeghoulilsSofiane Feghouli is the only addition to the Irons squad for today’s clash at West Brom.

The free summer signing has recovered from injury but looks unlikely to start with Michail Antonio continuing in the wide right role.

Havard Nortveidt could also return to the side although it will be interesting to see whether Sam Byram retains his place or whether the manager opts to gamble on a three at the back formation with the Norwegian slotting into the holding role in front of them.

The boss will name his team an hour before kick off and his team could look like this should he decide to leave Byram on the bench: Adrian, Reid, Collins, Masuaku; Nortveidt; Antonio Noble, Kouyate; Lanzini, Payet, Zaza

How can anyone possibly have Collins in a starting eleven? At best he’s a last resort sub. Too many mistakes in too many games.

Collins and Ogbonna were the best center back combination by result last season. Has Reid really done any better this term?

Collins had a bad game last time because Byram was so out of position on too many occasions!! Collins is a great defender and has been solid for many years! He is our John Terry. Go Ginger!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, Byram left the defence exposed too often against Watford his forward runs invariably ended with him being dispossessed. He is not good enough at this level right now. It doesn’t help when Creswell is the full back bench mark. Masuaku, incidentally, is a great find for the club. A classy player who seems immediately at home in the premier league.
