Hammers encouraged by Chelsea moves

batshWest Ham are watching anxiously as Chelsea are reported to be in their opening moves to take Robert Lewandowski to Stamford Bridge.

It seems that Diego Costa’s Blues days are very much behind him with Antonio Conte deciding that the Spaniard can leave south west London.

But a lack of movement in the market has inhibited the Hammers hopes of clinching a deal for Belgian international Michy Batshuyai who is unsettled at the club after a season on the sidelines last term.

Now however, the dominoes may be about to topple with Lewandowski reported to be a serious Blues target although Romelu Lukaku is also believed to be in Chelsea’s sights.

Hammers insiders have made it clear that Batshuyai is at the top of their target list either as a permanent signing or on loan.

And we were told: “It genuinely is a waiting game. We are keen to get into talks and are watching all developments here and at the other clubs where we are interested in players and are ready to move. It’s encouraging if thing are moving at Chelsea”

  1. It has always surprised me no one has tried getting Lewandowski over here before.Top,top player.Any chance we might put in a cheeky bid for him 😁

    • Don’t need him Rads we’ve already got a better forward who is much more unique and unplayable 😀😀

      • Lol dont forget the “On his day’ 😂

      • There would be a certain person who comments on here who would say Lewandowski isn’t good enough or some other stupid reason why we shouldn’t sign him lol 🙂

        • He’s too old as well Essex, scored in a weaker league and only scored so many because of other players 😀 The porcelain princess would have scored a 100 goals in that team 😆😆

          • Yeah he is an awful player. We would regret ever buying him & it would only prove we are content to be a second tier premier team.
Is that the one Essex 😂

          • You have got it 1st guess rads. Of course there will be no sell on fee & he is past his best, no better than what we have already got. We don’t need a striker with AC & Sakho fit.

  2. just seen Chelski are intrested in him

  3. There is a reason why so-called top players don’t get selected by Thier relevant managers .
Ok , let’s see how the fans feel about our sick room players scoring goals next season .
I will remain silent untill then . Attitudes and comments will change , believe me .

    • Kevin that arguement really doesnt stack up about there being a reason players dont get selected.Aguero wasnt picked for man city but are you telling me he isnt world class.Unlike us the bigger clubs have many many top players at their disposal and can afford to pick who they want.
And sorry my friend but i dont see anything changing next season when it comes to ac or sacko. It has been proven they are flawed physically and that wont change as far as i see it.There is nothing wrong with being realistic as it isnt a betrayal of the club you support lol
