Roma chase Irons winger

Roma are tonight reported to have reached an agreement with Sofiane Feghouli’s representatives on personal terms for their client, but still have to thrash out a deal with West Ham .

Feghouli has failed to make a serious impact at the London Stadium and could join four others on their way out = Simone Zaza, Jonaton Calleri, Álvaro Arbeloa and Gokhan Tore who have been among the various lack lustre signings

Roma are understood to be ready to take over Feghouli’s loan from the Hammers and will be ready to include a £12 million purchase option at the end of the season.

A club insider simply said this evening: “Everything is up for grabs in this widow.”

  1. Would be good business if it comes off, he was a free transfer although I think they paid him a generous signing on fee. His position is one that we have a number of players capable of playing so no huge loss. We don’t need him for any cup games now so he will have limited time to play.

  2. I was thinking that he was starting to show a little. Not pulling up trees but i thought he was starting to adapt more.

  3. I also thought he started showing signs of improvement. If we get Snodgrass sell him. If we don’t, I’d give him more time as i think he has something to offer.

  4. I agree with Big Tone & Thiucgshaun. He has hardly set the place alight & he did have that horrendous miss against Man C, but he was starting to come out of his shell. Maybe a little more game time would have paid off.

  5. He’s another that hasn’t had the game time, to really judge.Came with good pedigree, and CV but when you’ve bought 12 new players in,then don’t need them, you have to sort the wheat from the chaff.
Not sure how good he is, or could be,and I’ve watched every game,he certainly frizzled out after a Bright start, against City. Maybe not quite mentally up to the pressures of the Premier league. COYI
