david-sullivan-west-ham-upton-park_3339474David Sullivan has revealed that the club has launched a £30 million bid for a player this afternoon.

He dropped the bombshell news whilst speaking on Sky Sports declaring: : “We have put in a £30 million bid for a player today and we will also be bidding £20-£25 million for a British player this week.”

He refused to name the two players but made it clear the club is happy to spend on one or the other saying “Whether it’s enough we don’t know – we’ll have to see.”

Interviewed by Jim White he added: “For an hour tomorrow night we will wish we weren’t moving but in the morning we will know it’s the right thing to do.

“We can’t compete with the big clubs on the crowds we are getting so we are moving on and are excited about the future.”
