Sunderland still tracking Allardyce

|

spittingsamKarren Brady’s revelation that her bookmaker friends have Sam Allardyce’s card marked for Sunderland are confirmation of a ClaretandHugh story as far back as February 19.

We revealed that he was “among the runners” to take over at the Stadium of Light next season and that a former player would be well received by the fans.

The Hammers boss is still the favourite to be the next Premier league managerial departure at around 11/4 and our Mackem sources continue to insist he is the man ‘most wanted’ at the club.

There has been some talk that Gus Poyet could be ‘next in’ at West Ham but he remains behind the likes of Slaven Bilic and Marcelo Bielsa.

The Hammers are reported to be “aggressively” addressing the issue of finding a suitable replacement over the next few weeks.

Slaven Bilic’s odds have been cut quite dramartically from 14/1 four weeks ago to 8/1 today in many places

Sunderland I suggest you to take him, he’s a winner. I’ll miss him, but life goes on… This photo is fantastic… Probably he has lost his chewing gum.
Bilic and Bielsa… both good, I don’t like Poyet.

I agree ” mattefumi69 ” and he can take Nolan, Carroll & Jarvis if he likes.
    As long as he goes.

Be careful what you wish for.
Think where we were before BFS and where we are now.
He’ll never be a fan’s favourite because he isn’t a fan,he is a calculating manager without the passion to think that at three nil down we can come back with a glorious finale.
He thinks”game over, who should I rest for the next game”
Infuriating, but maybe that’s why our performance against Spurs was so good?
Annoying though he is I say stick with Sam at least until we’re in the new stadium.

Oh dear, here we go again.Stick with Allardyce till were in the new stadium.Ffs the club aint going to come crashing down without him.Why is there this scared mentality about us without him we are risking something. It wont happen, the chairmen wont let it happen. If we have only one win in ten at the start of next season we will be in the crap with Mr.Stability anyway.People have short memories. It is only because we had four wins in feb last year that we didnt go down with Mr.Stability last year.We were only flying earlier in the season coz Mr.Stability didnt have his pets about. He is just an average manager who has won nothing, not the british Mourinho.

  • Johnvp says:

And If he goes in the summer we’d get the new Mourinho?
The two David’s are slowly but surely restoring the stability that was shattered with the Icelandic disaster.
Curbishley,Zola and Grant were shocking managers.
I’d take Pardew back in a shot but all the other names in the frame are either untried or proven unsuccessful in the Premiership.

    Marcelo Bielsa – eh? Whohe?
