Arnie scores a hat-trick!

|

Marko Arnautovic scored a hat-trick of awards at the West Ham Players’ awards tonight.

The awards ceremony at the Intercontinental London – The O2 saw eight awards handed out, from Young Hammer of the Year, to Goal of the Season and finally the big one – the prestigious Hammer of the Year.

Arnie predictably picked up the signing of the season award early on and Hammer of the year 2018 late on but also picked up Players’ player of the season.

Declan Rice quite rightly won the young Hammer of the year for the second year running while Connor Coventry picked up the Dylan Tombides award. Pedro Obiang deservedly wins goal of the season while Ellie Zoepfl picks up West Ham Ladies’ player of the season.

Ken Brown was presented his Lifetime achievement award.

I’d prefer a hat trick on the pitch to a bunch of meaningless awards.
    Stoke had the right idea.

Whilst Arnie 100% deserved the Hammer of the Year I really think signing of the season should’ve gone to Zabaleta.
