£10 million LLDC wage bill shocker

ClaretandHugh can today reveal that the astonishing LLDC the wage bill – funded of course by the taxpayer – stand at just under an incredible £10 milion a year.

E20 has just two employees and one consultant while the LLDC  has  133 employees amassing wages  of £6.7m with pension contributions a further £3m.

That makes the average cost of each LLDC employee nearly £73,000 per year.

New LLDC CEO Lyn Garner earns a basic salary of £195,000 per year but pension costs and bonuses can bump that up over £250,000 per year, her predecessor David Goldstone earned £266,000 in his final year.

Deputy CEO Gerry Murphy also a member/director of E20 earns £173,000 per year but again after pension and bonuses can earn over £200,000 per year.

Part-time directors who attend E20 board meetings include Sir Peter Hendy £36,000 per year Keith Edelman £35,000 per year E20 chairman Nicky Dunn £28,000 per year and David Gregson £35,000 per year.

Commercial consultant Alan Fort bills up to £40,000 per month to E20 for his services.

    So roughly 53k average salary the pension contributions are then a third of their salary on top of that which is astronomical and because a lot of that will be tax free a liberty imho. As they are a failed project how can that be justifiable ?
