Evidently not content with the idea of bringing Reiss Nelson from Arsenal, West Ham are reported as continuing to seek out other options to add to their threadbare squad in the last week of the summer window. Which, considering the winger’s injury record, would surely seem wise as the fringe Gunners player has made just eighteen first team starts in six years at North London.
Despite reports that a deal is ready to go, evidently the Hammers are still looking for better options.

Hence the report concerning Leeds’ Belgian winger Largie Ramazani – two years Nelson’s junior and a whole world better in terms of injury record – and one who can play across the whole front line if required.
According to Valencia FC expert Journalist Nacho Sanchis:
“Leeds is asking for 4M + % of future sale The Belgian has West Ham, Burnley, and an Italian team willing to buy him, but he wants to wait in case VCF [Valencia – hence the Spanish journalist] sells André.
Leeds are prepared to part with Ramzani but only via a permanent sale
Deportivo de La Coruña inquired, but they end up signing Adama. VCF has wanted him on loan all summer, but as of August 26, Leeds still won’t budge: it has to be a sale.”
Which could be right up West Ham’s alley with sufficient cash to burn after the Diouf deal to go and grab a winger who could bolster their squad options nicely.
Whether the player can be convinced to join Nuno’s ‘project’ is another issue – but the absence of any other Premier League team sniffing around, for once, could make this a low-profile, high common sense transaction ahead of deadline day. And simply because it isn’t Reiss Nelson, it gets the thumbs-up from me.
