Adrian gets new offer

|

West Ham have no intention of allowing Adrian to move on in the January window for a player whose contract is up in the summer.

And we understand the club have already made him a new offer which they believe is as good or better than he would get elsewhere.

The club has been linked with various possible replacements including Burnley’s Tom Heaton but the Hammers are very keen to hold onto the stopper.

Manuel Pellegrini wants two good options in all positions including between the sticks and is keen for theĀ  Spaniard to stay and maintain pressure on current Number One Lukasz Fabianski.

News that a new deal had been offered came as ClaretandHugh checked out the Heaton rumour when we were told that the club had two excellent goalkeepers and that the club did not want to lose the 31 year old.

We were told: “He’s been made a very good offer because of that – probably as good or better than he would get elsewhere.”
