|

Hammers midfielder Edson Alvarez has cleared up any injury worries after being subbed in the second half during the match against Manchester City.

The new signing,  was withdrawn on 66 minutes with the scores level at one each but late goals saw us sink 1-3.

“Edson Alvarez had a delayed flight and returned home at 3pm [on Thursday],” Moyes said in his press conference. “It’s part and parcel of international breaks.”

With such a busy September ahead an injury problem to a key player would have been a big problem
