Vladimir Coufal returns to squad for semi final

Michail Antonio and Vladimír Coufal return to the West Ham squad for Thursday’s UEFA Europa Conference League semi-final second-leg tie at AZ Alkmaar.

Antonio has been suffering a dead leg and missed Sunday’s trip[ to Brentford after scoring the winner in last week’s first leg of the semi final.

Coufal is back after missing three games with a hamstring injury suffered in the Premier League game at Manchester City on 3 May.

The manager also confirmed that his squad did not suffer any further injury concerns in Sunday’s Premier League game at Brentford.

Mick has travelled and so has Vladimír,” he confirmed. “They’re both doing well so hopefully they’re both in with a chance of playing.

Everything else seems OK at the moment, so hopefully we’re in the clear.”

Young striker Divin Mubama has also made the trip to the Netherlands after making his second Premier League appearance as a second-half substitute at Brentford on Sunday.

The 18-year-old has scored 27 goals this season at all levels, including his maiden senior strike against AEK Larnaca in the round of 16 second-leg win over the Cypriot side at London Stadium in March.

The only senior absentee from the Irons squad are Gianluca Scamacca, who is continuing his recovery from knee surgery.
