Antonio makes amazing “six pointer” Liverpool

Michail Antonio has celebrated his decision to remain at West Ham by signing a new deal plus   option with the boldest of predictions!

The Number 9 agreed a further one year deal plus option a few days – and revealed exclusively on Claret and Hugh – after the club refused to accept  near zero fees for the player from Wolves and Saudi Arabia.

It means that the 33 year old could easily go into retirement from the Hammers who signed him under Slaven Bilic’s management back in 2015.

And from his remarks since agreeing a deal he appears ready to go out on the most triumphant of terms following the visit to Liverpool this weekend and beyond that until the end of this season’s campaign.

Indeed, extraordinarily, he believes the match at Anfield is a six pointer given his long range view of what is going tom happen after that.

Speaking on the Footballer’s Football Podcast he said: “I am backing myself over Liverpool. You know what, I think we are going to finish higher than Liverpool this season. I’m putting it out there.

“I watched the game [Wolves vs Liverpool] because it was before our game and Wolves could have run away with it. They had quite a few opportunities. We’ve got them this weekend and it’s a six-pointer.”
