BBC pundit heaps on more West Ham misery

BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson predicts more misery for West Ham with a one-nil loss on Wednesday night.

Lawro writes on his BBC website “Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has shown his ability to improve his side during games – they showed it against Manchester City last week and again to knock Leicester out of the FA Cup on Sunday. They have not played well for the entire game in any of their three games in the past 10 days, but they have won them all.
West Ham in contrast, have lost two out of two and my worry with them is still where their goals are going to come from.

It is hard to see them getting anything out of this game but all is not lost – they have got two home games against Watford and Aston Villa in the final fortnight of the season and, the way all of those teams are playing right now, it looks like the relegation battle will go right to the wire.”

Claret and Hugh say:

We are hoping that Chelsea will be tired after playing Leicester City on Sunday in FA Cup, while West Ham has seven days rest. Moyes complained that it was not fair that the Hammers had 24 less recovery time than Spurs but now the tables have turned with West Ham have five more days rest.  Let’s hope this is the real London derby and the Hammers get a shock result when the West London side visit Stratford mid-week.

I will go for a  1-0 West Ham win through a Mark Noble penalty top earn us three vital points.  You can get 17/1 for a 1-0 Hammers win and Mark Noble first goalscorer also on 17/1.

So a fiver double on a 1-0 West Ham and Mark Noble winner will land you over £1,500 😉    Remember when the fun stops stop!
