David Gest was a guest of David Sullivan and Vanessa Gold in the directors box less than two weeks ago during the West Ham v Crystal Palace match and was pictured (above) supporting the Dylan Tombides foundation.
One of his last tweets was to thank David Sullivan and Vanessa Gold for their hospitality at the Boleyn ground: Gest tweeted from the West Ham boardroom “Thanks Vanessa and thanks David Sullivan for the invite. Great to see Danny Dyer and his daughter enjoying the game!”
Tragic news broke yesterday that the 62 year old entertainer, producer and reality television star was found dead in his Docklands hotel. Gest, who is a former husband of singer Liza Minnelli, died at the Four Seasons hotel in Canary Wharf. American Gest was best known in the UK for his appearances on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Celebrity Big Brother.
David Sullivan junior tweeted out “Very sad news about David Gest, was at football with us vs Palace just 10 days ago. A true gentleman. Rest in peace” Daughter of David Gold, Vanessa added “So sad to hear David Gest has died. #cbb legend”
The DT38 foundation said: “We’re all in huge shock! #RIP David Gest”
