West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini admits he is becoming concerned by the number of long term injuries hitting the squad.
The Hammers were rocked by the injury to Andriy Yarmolenko which will see him iut until next season and both Jack Wilshere and Carlos Sanchez, the other two summer signings are also out injured .
The boss -answering his own – question said: “Am I concerned? Yes of course, we have four players with long injuries in this moment and everyone knows that December maybe is the worst month of the Premier League.
“We don’t have any options to recover, Pedro Obiang I think will be ready, so we will need to be ready to work with the players that we have in this moment.”
Andy Carroll is expected back early in November but there remains no definite time frame on either Winston Reid or Manu Lanzini.
With over 2 months to the transfer window he is surely going to look at the U23s for a solution.Holland,Makasi maybe.Diangana for Yarmolenko again.The midfield looks threadbare with injuries.
