Delivery company Hermes has made a £1,000 donation to the Isla Caton fund after they destroyed a valuable auction item that was due to raise money for the sick Weest Ham fan.

Later adding ‘We called to chase it up and was told it was to big to take and had to pay a extra fee of which we done. Today NO delivery STILL! So we called 0330 8085456, how’s this for customer service. The answer was “it arrived in Swindon broken so we destroyed it” and then hung up!’
Following those Twitter exchanges together support from the West Ham and Millwall football community on Twitter, a Hermes managed called Emma offered a refund and combination which totalled £1,000.
