C&H Exclusive revelation on the real Kalvin Phillips deal

Claret and Hugh has been informed by a top source at West Ham that there is no option or obligation to buy Kalvin Phillips at the end of his loan deal.

Speculation had arisen in recent days suggesting that Phillips’ appearances could trigger his loan move to become permanent.

However, C&H has exclusively learned from a top club source that no such deal exists. It has also been clarified that the reported loan fees are nowhere near the £7 million figure reported elsewhere.

The full cost of Kalvin Phillips West Ham deal is far less than reported

While West Ham will cover Phillips’ entire wages (believed to be £140,000 per week), the loan fee could be as little as £1 million, making the entire deal cost £4 million for the duration of the loan period.

Phillips has endured a challenging loan spell at the Hammers, marked by error-strewn displays, red cards, and, most recently, some unfortunate sign language directed towards a Hammers fan who had called him ‘useless’.
