Fabianski silver lining may be a lock down bonus

|

Lukasz Fabianski may be a major beneficiary on the lock down.

The hammers top line keeper didn’t look quite the same stopper when he returned to action before the break.

The clanger at Liverpool and more uncertainty in his game than we had seen previously were noticeable given the extraordinary standards we had become used to.

It may well have been that the disastrous form of Roberto – despite Randolph’s arrival – had overly hurried his recovery process.

However, if that were the case he has now had more than enough time to make a full recovery and put any llingering worries to bed.

Fabianski’s presence has always been the huge confidence booster and the long lay off since March will have given him more than enough chance to return to his best.

We are told there is a near certainty that every player will be fit on their return and a 100 per cent Fabianski will be absolutely crucial to the cause.
