Felipe Anderson odds-on for award

Felipe Anderson appears to be the odds-on favourite for West Ham goal of the season at the West Ham Players awards on Wednesday 8th May.

Anderson’s goal against Crystal Palace has received nearly 33% of the vote in a Claret and Hugh poll followed by his effort against Manchester United picking up 21% of the vote.

Andriy Yarmolenko’s goal against Everton was third with 16% with Anderson’s goal against Southampton fourth place picking up 12%.

Declan Rice’s effort against Arsenal also picked up 12% while Robert Snodgrass, Marko  Arnautovic and Ryan Fredericks picked up the remaining 8% of the votes from readers.

Fabianski is odds on to pick the Hammer of the year, Signing of the season and Save of the season at this year’s awards picking up over 80% of the vote in each category.

Other awards up for grabs include Best Individual performance and Best team performance.

West Ham legend Ronnie Boyce will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award at the 2018/19 Player.
