|
FordWest Ham United have signed highly rated young striker Sam Ford.

The front man recently left Ipswich Town and has agreed a deal  which will keep him the Irons until June next year with an option to extend the deal.

Talking to whufc.com after signing his contract, Ford beamed: “I’m delighted to have signed for West Ham. It’s a huge club and a big step up.

“ It is a very exciting time with the new stadium, everyone is talking about West Ham, it is definitely something to look forward to and hopefully I’ll be involved playing their one day.

The striker continued to say: “The Academy is a good place to be at the moment. A lot of the younger players have been involved in the first team recently. I really just want to play football and get to the highest level possible. Making my Premier League debut is the dream.

“Life at Rush Green is demanding, but that’s good and important to get to that next level.

“I just want to kick on and try and score as many goals as possible between now and the end of the season. If I do that, we’ll see where it takes me.”
