Forgotten man returns to the gym

|

Forgotten man Carlos Sanchez has been spotted working out at a local gym by a West Ham supporter.

The 33-year-old signed for West Ham fro £4n last August signing a two-year deal but has made just five appearances due to injury.

The Colombian was injured last October during West Ham’s 8-0 Carabo Cup win over Macclesfield Town. He had surgery on his knee ligaments and spent some of his time in Barcelona recovering from his surgery.

The midfielder was recently spotted in a David Lloyd gym in Chigwell with a personal trainer in an attempt to regain fitness.

The player is forecast to be out until the end of April so will play no play part in this season for West Ham however it is hoped he can take part in a full pre-season and be fit for next season assuming that Pellegrini decides to keep him in the squad this summer.

If we can sell or loan Sanchez out I would. He was Hugill of the summer for me. Didn’t get the move on big wages not a play maker so be back up to Rice on big wages.
Need to clear out our 30+ high wages injury players then put in wage structure
