Fulham block Isla collection on safety grounds

West Ham supporter Baz Cox has been told he will not be able to collect money for young cancer sufferer Isla Caton outside Craven cottage this evening for safety reasons.

Baz messaged his followers to say “CONFIRMATION We will NOT allowed to collect inside tomorrow at Fulham The reason we cannot is from the stadium safety officer who fears for MY safety! Even the excuse of me possibly being mugged on my way home was used. Very POOR imo. CANCER HAS NO COLOURS!!!!”

Baz has collected thousands of pounds in buckets for Isla up and down the land on West Ham away days.

During an update posted this morning Baz added: ” I am very happy and grateful to say that I’ve had contact with someone at Fulham FC this morning and the club will kindly donate  a signed shirt to be auctioned off for Isla’s fight to make up for us NOT being allowed to collect. THANK YOU”

Baz asks “It would make great sense today (live on tv too) in the 4th minute to be singing “Isla Caton’s Claret & Blue Army” She’s 4 years old and just finished her 4th course of treatment in Barcelona.”
