Ginge will get his farewell to fans chance

Ginge will get his his opportunity to say his goodbyes to fans.

Earlier this week the Hammers hero told BBC Wales radio listeners his only gripe with West Ham was he didn’t have a chance to say goodbye to the staff at the training ground and to fans.

When Collins’ contract ended in the summer of 2018 everyone was away on their holidays so he didn’t get an opportunity to say goodbye as there were no staff at Rush green at that time.

Manuel Pellegrini later gave him the opportunity to train with the Hammers so he did have an opporunity to meet up with staff and say his goodbyes.

But Claret and Hugh was told today he is always welcome back at the training ground and he only needs to phone the manager in advance and ask.

Claret and Hugh also understand he and his family have been invited back to West Ham as VIP guests in a top corporate hospitality lounge at the London Stadium when Ginge will get the chance to speak to the fans at half time pitch side if he still wants to give us a specific farewell.
