Half time: Hammers 0 Palace 1

|

Hammers 0 Palace 1

It was very much back to the shoddy and shapeless West Ham we have become a bit to used to this season.

It was almost Cardiff revisited as we stuttered our way through the first 45 minutes – producing some sloppy passing and were second best to most balls.

We fell behind to the scrappiest of goals when James McArthur found far to much space to reach a ballĀ  way before Fabianski and saw the ball crawl its way into the net.

With no Arnautovic, Pellegrini settled for Perez and Chicharito up front and theĀ Mexican was guilty of twice running off side when chances were on.

It could have been a whole lot worse when Milivojevic smacked a free kick against the crossbar right on half time with the Irons still trying to find some sort of rhythm.

Perez saw one shot go wide from a decent shot but by and large very disappointing and the sort of second 45 minutes they produced against Cardiff now very much the requirement.
