Hammer is the best player in the league

|

Oxford United manager Karl Robinson says that West Ham loanee Marcus Browne is the best player in League One.

Browne came through the youth system at West Ham, and made his senior debut for the London club in the Europa League in August 2016.  The 20-year-old joined Oxford on loan for the season, and has scored twice in six appearances for the League One side this term.

Robinson told the Oxford Mail “Marcus Browne just showed everybody why he’s the best player in this league, this is the best team in the league and that shows you what they think of our No 10.”

Browne said: “I have to thank the manager for bringing me here and having faith in me. I’m adamant that they will be able to make me a better player and a better person, give me experience, which is what I need. I’m quite grounded, so for me that’s not enough. I want more, I want to play better.”
