Hammer to offer alternative to digital season ticket

|

Canning Town Len Studios will soon be offering a West Ham collectable card which potentially could be used as an alternative to digital season tickets.

The club currently plans to ditch plastic season ticket access cards and replace them with a mobile phone app or a print at home method.

West Ham season ticket holder Canning Town Len has designed an aluminium printed card that can contain a barcode or QR code that could be used instead of a mobile phone or printed piece of paper at home.  It will be a work of art in its own right without its intended practical use.

The West Ham animator turned filmmaker and podcaster told Claret and Hugh “I’m a fan of tech but people should always have a choice. My plastic-free code entry cards will always be unique, durable and collectable. Little things can make big differences to older generations, people on the autistic spectrum, and folks who just appreciate cool stuff.”

The West Ham artist has already been successful with Crypto art in the form of West Ham Non-Fundible Tokens NFT’s
