Hammer Rice feeling pressure from City

Manchester City are about to put the pressure on Team Rice. The treble winners planned to move in on the player after two failed Arsenal bids. Rice will be feeling pressure to make a choice between living in London or playing for Europe’s best team.

They are asking for assurances from him, his agent Dad Sean or both. They wish to clarify if he would want to move to the Etihad if they submit a suitable offer.

Arsenal have had their two offers snubbed by the Irons and City now appear ready to top them  but need to know the Hammers No 41 will be ready to move should they succeed.

The Sunday Mirror  that City are looking to get a clear indication from Rice. They wish to know if he would be willing to join Pep Guardiola’s side this summer.

It’s understood that Rice’s preference has been to join Arsenal. Although that was before City’s desire to join the bidding had been made public.

Even since then there has been some seemingly fake news put out by the publicity machine backing the Arsenal moves that the Hammers have been encouraging the Gooners to put in another bid.

That is not true as the Hammers are simply assessing the bids and inquiries and offers as they come in and will accept the one that suits the club best,
