Hammer signs new deal giving hope for Oggy and Mikey

|

Aaron Creswell has agreed a new contract with the club which will keep him at the London Stadium for another 12 months minimum.

The Hammers left back will be one of the older pros the club retains as with Declan definitely leaving the club believes it needs to keep a few in the dressing room.

Cress was on an option with his contract running out this summer but has agred to go into his tenth year as a Hammer having played close to 300 games.

He has been a brilliant servant to the club and now looks the most likely candidate to take over from Declan as skipper.

He has agreed new personal terms but still allegedly earns less than £50,000 a week although it is also possible that he will be handed a rare testimonial.

A source told Claret and Hugh: “We are delighted that Aaron has agreed a deal. With With Declan going we need a few top old pros in the dressing room.”

So that could wreck rumours that the likes of Oggy and Mikey will be leaving!
