With the season having dipped over recent weeks, the run up to Christmas will become inreasingly important for both sides.

The Hammers enter a period when the toughest games they will face look to be against Spurs and Manchester United and Arsenal over Christmas.

The other games against the likes of Brentford, Burnley, Palace, Forest and Fulham all have to beĀ  considered winnable.

And thus the period between now and the end of the year is a perfect opportunity for the club – and or Moyes – to make their minds up about his future.

The possible issues between the manager and technical director Tim Steidten continue to be discussed and it is now well known the duo didn’t get on well when the German arrived.
