Hammers number revealed for Third round draw

|

West Ham will carry ball number No 30 when the Carabao Cup Third round draw is made this evening.

Those described as the top teams – although Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United currently sit in 13th – enter the fray tonight with much feared Manchester City and Liverpool carrying Nos 15 and 14th respectively.

Other numbers to watch out for are Spurs (17), Arsenal (2) and Chelsea (8).

Among the smaller clubs we may be hoping to get at home are Blackpool (4), Burton Albion (7) Macclesfield  (15) and Oxford (22).

The draw will be held in the Isleworth Sky Studios “after 7pm.”

Manuel Pellegrini made his intentions for the competition very clear on Tuesday evening when playing a very strong team against AFC Wimbledon.

He won the trophy with Manchester City  and is obviously looking for a repeat as the Irons look to end their wilderness years without a trophy.
