Hammers on Czech scouting mission

West Ham are eagerly scouting the Czech republic top clubs after successes with Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal from Slavia Prague.

The Hammers missed out a Slavia Prague centre back Michal Frydrych who moved to Polish side Wisla Kraków for £750,000.

The Irons are on the lookout for a striker and a centre back and could find value in the Fortuna Liga.

Sparta Prague leads the Czech first league table with 25-year-old striker Lukas Jullis the top scorer in the league with six goals so far this season.

Adam Hlozek who plays as a second striker is the second-highest goalscorer with four goals to his name, he also plays for league leaders Sparta Prague.

Sparta have 22-yar-old Ladislav Krejčí centre back partner 31-year-old  Ondřej Čelůstka in the centre of their defence.

Slavia Prague are second the league despite losing Vladimir Coufal and Tomas Soucek,

They have a 19-year-old centre back called David Zima who partners 33-year-old Ondřej Kúdela

Upfront, Slavia Prague has 22-year-old Petar Musa who has scored two goals from six appearances this season.

  1. Buy them all. Slavia Prague should be our official Feeder club. ⚒⚒

  2. It seems that we are putting all of our eggs in one basket due to the lack of a proper scouting network and reliance on preferred agents.

  3. Nice piece – but don’t get carried away. These players are people and may not want to be sold and bought. It might seem to us that these people and their families will jump at the chance to change their lives by going to various cities and rented accomodation, changing everything at the drop of a contract.
Some might – but it doesn’t follow that it’s a ‘no brainer’ and deals are possible because it’s the way it works on a computer game.
Remember Joey Beauchamp – and he was ‘only’ moving to Boleyn from Oxford – happy with Swindon in the end.
    Just saying.

  4. SPARTA PRAGUE: attention !!! Adam Karabec 17-year-old midfielder (Speed of thought as Rosicky. He already knows where the ball will be addressed before it is accepted). SLAVIA PRAHA: David Zima 20-year-old cen.def. (Fast, tall, in the game he behaves like an experienced thirty-year-old). SPARTAK MOSCOW: Alex Král 21-year-old def. midfielder (Soucek-Rice mutation. For the national team together with Soucek). This is the most promising from the Czech Republic.

    • Spot on Josef I was going to mention Kral & Karabec too. If we could get Hložek he would be a nice addition too thought Sparta lost nice debut for him & very well rounded move goal involvements then games so far & well experienced for 18. Kral I can see as a Moyes type player

      • Hlozek is the same type as Haller. I do not recommend.

      • I recommend. Slavia Prague: Peter Olayinka
25 years, left midfielder or forward. (High, technical, combative back like Soucek and Coufal. Barcelona caught him by the jersey. Ability to attack independently, but fewer goals so far. Yesterday a goal for the price of a broken nose. He finished the match with a fracture as a defender. Type between Antonio: Bowen. Maybe even faster. He will do anything to win.)
