Hammers summer ‘target’ still looking for move

|

West Ham were regularly  linked with Manchester United’s out of favour Jesse Lingard in the summer but it all came to nothing.

Much of that was to do with the fact that he was being touted around Europe’s major clubs who showed absolutely no interest whatsoever.

However, it has now emerged the 27 year old has dispensed with the services of his representative Mino Raiola which could mean that he may reappear on the agenda of Premier League clubs.

Responsibility for any move now apparently lies in the hands of his family  family and given that he is on a free transfer at the end of the season it’s an option the Irons could easily be looking at.

He has fallen right out of favour at Manchester United and it’s to be hoped that we don’t make the mistake again of moving for a player who isn’t good enough to make the first team of another Premier League club.

West Ham have been there and done that before and one wonders why a 24 times capped England winger was unable to find a summer move.

As far as the Hammers are concerned  we have enough wingers and it would be difficuult to underdtand why we would go in that direction.
