Hammers update Coufal future contract position

|

West Ham tracking Coufal replacement? The Czech full back has been in great form this season.

West Ham United are planning to take up the option on Vladi Coufal’s current contract and they may indeed offer him a further extension.

There has ben much speculation about the situation over recent weeks but our key source inside the London Stadium broke the news to us earlier this evening.

Coufal is rising 32 next year  so the Hammers will make a decision on whether that is going to happen nearer his birthday which falls next August.

The player has made it clear that he is near certain to accept the offer should the Hammers put it too him,

He has often discussed his love of the club and it is even possible that should he continue in his current form he could land a deal which would take him to the end of his time in the game.

When we put the question to our senior source he declared: He has a year left (this season) and we have a year’s option that we will take up in due course.
